I designed this gauge to display additional information from my EV cars, a VW ID.4 and Nissan Leaf. It's a software project built for the Waveshare ESP32-S3 2.8" round touchscreen. It displays information like speed, torque, power consumption (regeneration), traction and low-voltage battery voltages and currents as well as individual traction battery cell voltages. It even has a 0-60 MPH (0-100 KPH) timer. It connects to the vehicle OBD port in one of three ways.

1. Direct CAN-bus connection using a CAN transceiver chip
2. Via BLE using a ELM327 dongle such as the LELink2
3. Via Wifi using a ELM327 dongle such as the WiCAN-PRO
